The one ...Thanks, Dan, I appreciate your comments. The one you're talking about is State of Virginia, which is the first little movie on the page, — July Follies is the second one. (A new one will be going up in the next few weeks.) Hopefully the page layout is displaying correctly in your browser.. I might need to investigate this.

Here's the link...
http://www.filmsofevillights.org/smallmovies.html

Ideally upon clicking either of the two movies, they would just begin to stream instantly, embedded in the page... and in fact I have witnessed this before, upon typing in a direct link. For some reason (at least with the Safari browser), clicking on either of these files currently only brings up that silent and imposing "Q" — which in Apple-speak means "the movie is currently loading", although no-one should be expected to assume such without the presence of a loading-meter. In short, there's a way to get the file to begin streaming and playing... I just need to get to the bottom of this. (Eventually I'd like to have everything up both as Quicktime download and podcast, and embedded Flash streams..) (The big and perpetual work-forthcoming, Fait Accompli, will have each episode definitely optimized... larger-size files too, shot with a different and new camera, a DVX-100 soon to be purchased.)

Yeah, so for the small-movies that are currently up, I suggest just letting the Quicktime piece load, or better yet right-clicking on the movie name and saving the file directly to your computer..craig keller.https://www.blogger.com/profile/04633188566264641743noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20326335.post-46302583763517242032007-09-25T23:49:00.000-04:002007-09-25T23:49:00.000-04:00Craig - I like your movie. I like the tension between the living room as unreal monumental David Lynch-like space and the same room as a familiar, comfortable environment. No matter how much one's mind might try to maintain the idea that the room is strange, the people and cats drag one toward a more mundane feeling. Then the outdoor spaces take on the same ambivalent quality.Dan Sallitthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13136066978329749513noreply@blogger.com
